New Videos, Seminars on Sacred Geometry Offered by Artist Charles Gilchrist
(PRWEB) September 1, 2007 -- Internationally heralded artist Charles L. Gilchrist, fresh off the success of his acclaimed website (www.CharlesGilchrist.com), has introduced a new video on YouTube, a series of live seminars based on Sacred Geometry, and other educational efforts aimed at achieving what he calls "the path to enlightenment."
Mr. Gilchrist, a multi-faceted and renowned photographer and fine artist, is a thirty-year veteran of esoteric and meditative thought and practice. His YouTube video, entitled "An Introduction to Sacred Geometry," (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDLMPIEjwCY) has already taken the Internet by storm, with hundreds of viewings in the first few days alone. "Sacred Geometry is pure universal truth," Gilchrist states. "Worlds turn in Sacred Geometry, and the galaxies spin because of it. I am sharing my decades of work with others because during these times of tumult and trauma, the need for healing is so great."
By introducing Mr. Gilchrist's brilliant work in Sacred Geometry to a larger audience, the world is finally getting an intimate glimpse into the timeless quality of his work and how the unchanging archetypes of Sacred Geometry can lead one to peace and healing.
Sacred Geometry has been eternally observed as a legitimate path of enlightenment, both scientific and spiritual. "Studying the natural unfolding of geometric archetypes aligns our human consciousness to the infinite and the eternal," Gilchrist said recently. In these studies and meditations, he asserts, "we begin to see the true nature of the universe."
Beginning on September 23rd, Gilchrist will unveil a brand new series of live seminars targeting those who are interested in the ancient art form of Mandala and the universal language of Sacred Geometry. The first of these workshops will take place in Mentor, Ohio with the cooperation of A Different Way, a unique store whose mission is to help provide others with the mental, physical and spiritual tools needed to achieve well being. They do so by offering information and materials dedicated to positive aspects of living.
Through his own studies, spanning three decades, Gilchrist discovered the classical concepts of open-eyed meditation and began to create Mandalas as a path to self-discovery. This led him to create hundreds of fine art Mandalas over the past 25 years.
One of his most extraordinary commissions entailed a group of 48 paintings (Mandalas based on sacred geometric icons) for the new eco-friendly headquarters of Corporate Express, located in Broomfield, Colorado.
The Next Gilchrist Workshop on Sacred Geometry will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location:

"The great lesson from the true mystics, from the Zen Monks, and now also from the Humanistic and Transpersonal psychologists – that the sacred is in the ordinary, that it is to be found in one's daily life, in one's neighbors, friends, and family, in one's back yard, and that travel may be a flight from confronting the sacred – this lesson can be easily lost. To be looking elsewhere for miracles is to me a sure sign of ignorance that everything is miraculous.
